The challenge
Five channels, five sets of rules
Wunmax doesn’t run one food business. It runs several. Takeaway meals, bulk home orders in 1.5L to 10L packs, buffet catering for events and pre-paid meal plans each have their own menu, prices, cutoffs and delivery rules. Orders also arrive on WhatsApp, where every message had to be read and typed in by hand.
Keeping stock, payments and accounts aligned across those channels meant manual checking, and every reconciliation error ate into margins.
What changed
One platform, one set of accounts
Wunmax moved every channel onto Nuvio. Every order now lands in the same queue and the same accounts.
- A mobile-first storefront with takeaway, home-order, catering and meal-plan pages, installable on customers’ phones
- Paystack checkout with each channel settling to its own account, and automatic accounting entries
- Meal-plan subscriptions: Lite, Regular and Workweek plans that customers can skip, pause or reschedule
- Food stock controls with weekday and weekend closing times, holiday blocking and quantity limits
- Delivery fees by area, shipments, printed delivery labels and recorded delivery costs
- A WhatsApp ordering assistant that drafts orders and asks the customer to confirm
